2018 'ANDREW WATSON' TEMPRANILLO
This wine is named in honour of Andrew Watson Anderson Gibson, much loved patriarch of the Wilson/Gibson family. Tempranillo is a Spanish grape variety and is the main grape used to produce the famous Rioja red wines. This estate grown Hunter Tempranillo is a medium bodied wine displaying a ripe raspberry fruit palate with hints of liquorice and spice. Twelve months maturation in French and Amercian oak barrels has added some wonderful and subtle toasty characters.
