Description

2017 'CHICKEN SHED' CHARDONNAY

The name for this wine simply derives from the proximity of the block, which produced the fruit for this wine, to our neighbour's chicken sheds. Perhaps this rich source of fertilizer contributed to the good yield for the '16 vintage! The lightly oaked wine has fill rich flavours of subtle lime, peach, melon and fig characters, complemented by subtle vanillin toasty overtones from eight months maturation in French oak barrels.
