2016 LIMITED RELEASE SHIRAZ

The production of this wine is limited to 250 dozen. In 2016 we selected the best barrels from a number of sites, in an effort to produce a wine that will not only drink well in its youth, but hopefully, will be a classic after a few years in the cellar. Deep crimson with purple hues in appearance with intense spice and pepper on the nose combine with rich berry aromas. Rich fruit flavours of black cherries combine with firm tannis to provide a medium bodied style with great length on the palate. A well balance wine, consistent with the traditional Hunter Valley style of Shiraz, this wine shows significant depth of fruit and weight that will hold it in good stead for future years. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
